Bram came from Utrecht to write about the Constitution Hill precinct and stayed to map Johannesburg on foot, from the Maboneng galleries to the ridge walks above Melville. He plans city breaks as routes that link 44 Stanley, the Apartheid Museum and Soweto's heritage streets rather than a loop of shopping malls.
